Southeast Las Vegas

The southeast corner of the Las Vegas Valley is mostly the City of Henderson. But once you cross west of Eastern and north of St Rose, you’re not in Henderson anymore … you’re in southeast Las Vegas. From there to Tropicana at the north and the I-15 freeway on the west is a unique area of the valley that enjoys the best of Henderson and Las Vegas combined.

Southeast Las Vegas real estate includes residential neighborhoods from the classic Las Vegas era all the way to modern master-planned communities built in the 2000s. Popular communities include Silverado Ranch, Paradise Valley and Pewter Valley, but most of this area is unique homes without dedicated neighborhood names.

Silverado Ranch is largest master-planned community here, and consists of the newest homes. It has over 20 separate neighborhoods, most of which have been built in the 2000s. Silverado Ranch and the rest of Southeast Las Vegas is easily accessible, with both the I-15 and I-215 freeways running through and the Harry Reid International Airport right in the neighborhood.

This puts you close to all corners of the Las Vegas Valley, including the world-famous Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Las Vegas core. It puts you minutes from Red Rock Canyon to the west and Lake Mead to the east. It also gives you quick access to take a road trip, whether your destination is California, Arizona, Utah or further.

Southeast Las Vegas Amenities

Southeast Las Vegas is a perfect area if you’d like to be close enough to the Strip to enjoy a night on the town, but far enough away to escape the daily commotion. The community is known for its selection of shopping and restaurants, with plenty of plazas that offer everything you could want.

When it’s time to relax or engage in recreational activities, there are numerous impressive parks in this area. The Silverado Ranch Park has more than 10,000 square feet of softball fields, barbecue grills, covered playground areas, skate park, dog parks and an open-air amphitheater.

The 185-acre Sunset Park is one of the largest parks in the state of Nevada, and offers a large lake with fishing, as well as volleyball courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer fields and Frisbee golf.

Smaller neighborhood parks, each with its own set of sports fields, playgrounds or picnic areas, include Duck Creek, Cactus Wren, Hidden Palms and Desert Bloom.

Southeast Las Vegas has top-rated public and private schools, including CCSD’s Jack Schofield Elementary, John Bass Elementary, John Hummel Elementary, Cartwright Elementary, John Beatty Elementary, David M Cox Elementary, Aggie Roberts Elementary, Del Webb Middle School, Silvestri Middle School, Helen C. Cannon Middle School, Liberty High School, Silverado High School, and Canyon Springs High School.

Private school options include Challenger School – Silverado, Henderson International School, Capstone Christian School, St. Gabriel Catholic School, Montessori Visions Academy, and the Nevada School of Inquiry.
